Synopsis of Volume 9 of A Business Proposal

Hari Shin has officially hit rock bottom. After working herself to exhaustion at her office job, discovering that her longtime crush has a girlfriend, and helping to shoulder her family’s debt, she finds herself at a discouraging zero out of three in career, love, and finances. Just when it feels like nothing could possibly go right, her wealthy best friend Youngseo offers her an unusual opportunity: attend a blind date in her place in exchange for a generous financial reward.

What should have been a simple act of impersonation quickly spirals out of control when Hari discovers that her blind date is none other than her company’s newly appointed CEO. Even worse, he has no intention of letting this encounter end quietly. Instead, he presents her with a bold and unexpected proposal of his own—one that could solve both of their problems, at least on the surface. As their fake arrangement grows more complicated, professional boundaries blur, emotions intensify, and Hari must navigate a precarious balance between maintaining the ruse and confronting her own heart.
