BTS – Dark & Wild is the group’s first full-length album, released on August 21, 2014. With this project, BTS showcased a more mature and intense sound, addressing themes of youth, love, heartbreak, and rebellion. The album became a turning point in the careers of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, setting the stage for their global expansion.

The album features 14 tracks, from powerful hip hop anthems like “Danger” and “War of Hormone”, to emotional ballads like “Let Me Know” and the melancholic “Rain”. Highlights also include BTS Cypher Pt.3: Killer, which reaffirms the group’s rap identity, and Intro: What Am I to You, which dives into feelings of confusion and vulnerability.

The physical edition comes with a 102-page photobook, the CD containing the complete album, and random photocards (2 out of 10). First press editions also included a polaroid photocard, now a highly sought-after collector’s item. The dark, minimalist design mirrors the concept of this era perfectly.
