The two become friends and Nomoto decides not to go home at the end of the year to spend the holidays with Kasuga, who has long refused to meet her family because of their poor treatment of her. By then, Nomoto realises that she can no longer conceive of her life and meals without Kasuga, so she begins to question her sexuality...
