The Delphinium is piloted by Ichigo as pistil and Goro as yarn. It's one of the fundamental supports for Strelizia and the rest of the Franxx that protect Plantation 13 from the attack of the klaxosaurs that are attracted by the magma energy.

Like other Franxx from Plantation 13, it wears a kind of red and orange tie on its chest, giving the impression that it's dressed in a uniform.
