Heart of the Mountain introduces a Budget Commander challenge where deck construction becomes an important part of the event itself. Every deck must remain within Bracket 3 and may not exceed a total value of €100. The aim is to encourage lists where synergy, creativity and knowledge of your commander matter more than simply relying on the most expensive cards available.

The budget restriction encourages players to search for alternatives, optimise every slot and find efficient cards that perform the required role without pushing the deck beyond its limit. Deciding where to invest your budget and where less expensive options can fulfil the same purpose will be an important part of preparing for the tournament.

The Hobbit booster, promo and tournament rewards

Every participant will receive material included with their registration. Taking part in the event includes 1 promotional card and 1 The Hobbit booster pack, regardless of the position achieved in the final standings.

Players finishing in the highest positions will also receive Booster Packs as additional rewards for their tournament results.

This session is not only about achieving the strongest results, but also about seeing how far a Commander deck can go within clearly defined restrictions. How to book your Budget Commander place

To correctly confirm your participation in Heart of the Mountain, please complete the following steps:

2. Complete your registration for the 5 September event through Companion.

3. Add your player name or the details used on Companion to the order comments.

4. The organisation will check both records and validate your place before the tournament.

The online purchase does not replace registration through Companion. Both processes must be completed so that we can correctly connect your order with your participation in the event.

Heart of the Mountain is limited to 16 players. Start searching for cards that deliver more value than their price suggests, prepare your Commander deck within Bracket 3 and the €100 limit, and complete both your booking and official registration as soon as possible.
