Model Kit Gundam SD EX STD 001 RX-78-2

It's the mech that started it all! The first Gundam! The RX-78-2 Gundam is the titular mobile combat suit from Mobile Suit Gundam, the first series of the veteran franchise. This Gundam piloted by Amuro Ray could change the course of the war in favor of the Earth Federation during the One Year War against the Principality of Zeon. It's the reference and inspiration for all the other pilots of the franchise! This Gundam was incredibly advanced for its time. It was made with Luna Titanium alloy, a material as light as it's resistant. In fact, the RX-78-2 Gundam was lighter than the Mobile Suit of the Principality of Zeon and could perfectly resist their shots without suffering any damage. Thanks to his shield, it could deflect enemy fire and attack without being seen. Its design is one of the great milestones of the anime! Now you can have this mythical Mobile Suit in your own home!


This model kit belongs to the SD line, which offers us Super Deformed versions of the most popular Mobile Suits of the franchise. No glue or paint is needed for assembly, as all parts are pre-painted. The assembly instructions are included in the box. It's a figure that reproduces the original design of the anime with an adorable Super Deformed appearance and is made of high quality PVC. The RX-78-2 Gundam includes its energy rifle and its characteristic shield, among other accessories. This small model of the first and most prominent of the Gundam will be great in your collection! It's an official Gundam license and has been manufactured by Bandai/Tamashii.
