After the events of the previous series, the city of Tokyo is still populated by ghouls. These beings inhabit the normal inhabitants hiding that they eat human flesh. To control this dangerous threat once and for all, the Ghoul Countermeasures Commission has created the Quinx Squad, whose members have been subjected to an experimental procedure through which they have received the powers and abilities of a ghoul. The mentor of this special squad is the researcher Haise Sasaki, who not only has to deal with the problematic personalities of his subordinates but also with his amnesia and his limited mastery of his own ghoul skills. Here begins the last chapter of the story of the man who in the past was known as Ken Kaneki, the ghoul of the patch!
