Vikings, the series co-produced by History Channel, has once again brought fashion and Scandinavian myths into vogue. During its first seasons, this exciting television saga had the intelligent and courageous Ragnar Lothbrok among its protagonists. After one of the battles in which he participated, this Viking warrior had a vision of the god Odin directing his Valkyries to take the souls of the fallen to the other world. Since then he has felt identified with the old god, who sacrificed an eye to get the knowledge that allowed him to guide the other gods. Ragnar would be willing to sacrifice much more to get the wisdom that leads him to lead his people and free him from oppression. From farmer to looter, from looter to warrior, from warrior to count and, finally, from count to king: Vikings tells us about the arduous and admirable path traveled by Ragnar.
