Kazuya Kinoshita is a young college student filled with joy from his relationship, even getting to kiss his girlfriend. However, happiness fades when she suddenly leaves him. Drowned in sadness, Kazuya finds solace in an app that allows him to rent a girlfriend. This is how he meets Chizuru Mizuhara, a girl of breathtaking beauty that almost seems unreal. Despite his initial reservations about the arrangement, a twist of fate with his hospitalized grandmother forces him to continue with the act. Kazuya's grandmother is delighted with Chizuru, and soon the two discover how intertwined their lives are. As they move forward, a slew of secondary characters come into play, further complicating their relationship.
