Features of the Articulated Figure

Ready to hear a laugh so thunderous it could shake the foundations of your entire collection? The Nendoroid 1156 Slayers Naga the Serpent is here to prove that a powerful sorceress needs three essential things: devastating magic, an almost unreasonable amount of self-confidence and a laugh that announces her arrival long before anyone actually sees her. Inspired by the fantasy universe of Slayers, this figure represents Naga the Serpent, the extravagant sorceress who accompanies Lina Inverse during some of her most ridiculous adventures. Her theatrical personality, enormous pride and habit of turning practically every situation into a demonstration of superiority have made her one of the franchise's most memorable characters. If there is one thing Naga absolutely refuses to do, it is enter a scene quietly, particularly when an ear-splitting laugh can achieve the same result with considerably more drama.

Manufactured by Good Smile Company, this collectible belongs to the popular Nendoroid range, recognised for transforming anime, manga and video game characters into articulated chibi-style figures with interchangeable expressions and accessories designed to recreate memorable moments. Made from PVC, it stands approximately 10 cm tall, making it an excellent addition to display cabinets, desks and shelves dedicated to your favourite characters. Its design carefully recreates Naga's distinctive outfit, featuring her revealing black costume, decorative accessories and recognisable silhouette, faithfully preserving the character's appearance within the compact proportions of the collection. The result captures her extravagant personality while proving that chibi figures can be adorable without completely abandoning the original design of one of fantasy anime's most unconventional sorceresses.

One of the highlights of this articulated figure is its selection of three interchangeable face plates, including a laughing expression, another laughing face with a sideways glance and a crying expression. These options allow you to capture everything from Naga's usual arrogance to those amusing occasions when her elaborate plans fail rather spectacularly. The set also includes interchangeable hand parts, specifically designed to recreate her signature laughing poses and theatrical gestures. Among the accessories are Freeze Arrow and Bomb di Wind spell effect parts, representing two of her magical abilities and allowing you to create dynamic battle scenes inspired by the Slayers universe. These elements provide several display possibilities, whether you prefer to show Naga proudly demonstrating her magical abilities or recreate one of those chaotic confrontations where everyone involved suddenly realises that things have escalated much further than expected.

Its combination of interchangeable expressions, accessories and display possibilities makes this collectible an excellent addition for Naga the Serpent fans, Japanese figure collectors and followers of the Slayers franchise who want to celebrate one of classic fantasy anime's most eccentric sorceresses. Its compact size makes it particularly suitable for displaying alongside Nendoroid Lina Inverse, sold separately, allowing you to recreate the adventures, rivalries and endless arguments between these two unforgettable characters. After all, putting Lina and Naga together on the same shelf is practically inviting an argument about who deserves to be recognised as the superior sorceress, probably followed by an unnecessarily powerful spell. It also makes a great gift for fans who appreciate charismatic characters, absurd comedy and magical adventures filled with unpredictable situations. Owning this figure will not teach you how to cast Freeze Arrow or suddenly grant you mastery over elemental magic, but it will certainly provide a charming tribute to one of the most entertaining characters from Slayers. Just remember that if you start imitating her signature laugh every time you win a game, your neighbours might appreciate some advance warning.
