Curiosity is an incurable disease. Arata is convinced of that. He has just transferred to a new secondary school simply because he wanted to know what the experience would feel like, driven by an obsession with discovering and learning about everything unfamiliar to him.

That curiosity leads him into a room at his new school, where he unexpectedly sees a mysterious student changing clothes. Arata quickly leaves, but he cannot stop thinking about what he witnessed. His confusion only grows when he sees the same person again during PE, this time among the boys and wearing male clothing.

Nobody seems to know who this person called Hayami really is, or even whether Hayami is male or female. For Arata, that uncertainty becomes impossible to ignore. His fascination gradually turns into obsession, and the more he tries to understand Hayami, the more questions appear. What begins as simple curiosity soon develops into something far more personal, as Arata starts wondering whether he may actually be falling in love.

At the same time, there are hints that Hayami may be connected to something beyond ordinary explanation, adding a supernatural layer to an already complicated relationship.
