BTS – Map of the Soul: 7 is the fourth studio album by the South Korean group, released on February 21, 2020, and one of the most ambitious projects in their career. The title represents both the seven years since their debut and the unity of their seven members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. The album reflects themes of identity, personal growth, and the struggles of fame.

With international collaborations such as “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)”, the album blends genres from hip hop to pop and R&B. Highlights include “Black Swan”, symbolizing the fear of losing passion for music; “ON”, an energetic anthem; and intimate tracks like “Inner Child” or “We Are Bulletproof: the Eternal”, a love letter to their fans, ARMY.

The physical release came in four versions (01, 02, 03, and 04), with this listing corresponding to the Random Version, meaning one of the four is shipped at random.
