Synopsis of Volume 22 of Dan Da Dan

Aliens, ghosts, supernatural mysteries and a healthy dose of absolute chaos come together in Dan Da Dan, the wildly entertaining manga by Yukinobu Tatsu. At the centre of this extraordinary adventure are Okarun, a socially awkward boy fascinated by UFOs and extraterrestrial life, and Momo Ayase, a spirited girl raised by her grandmother, a powerful spirit medium. Although their beliefs about the supernatural could hardly be more different, an unexpected encounter with forces beyond their understanding will change their lives forever.

Okarun firmly believes that aliens exist but refuses to accept the existence of ghosts, while Momo is convinced that spirits are real but dismisses the possibility of extraterrestrial visitors. Determined to prove each other wrong, the two teenagers embark on a series of encounters that quickly spiral out of control. What begins as a disagreement about the paranormal soon develops into an outrageous adventure involving terrifying creatures, bizarre abilities and enemies that defy every explanation.

As their extraordinary experiences bring them closer together, Momo and Okarun must navigate not only increasingly dangerous supernatural threats but also the complicated emotions of adolescence. Their growing friendship, awkward romantic feelings and hilarious misunderstandings add a surprisingly heartfelt dimension to a story packed with explosive action and unpredictable twists. With its distinctive blend of science fiction, horror, comedy and romance, Dan Da Dan constantly challenges expectations while delivering unforgettable characters and spectacular confrontations.
