Hoping to slowly reintegrate into society while avoiding dangerous spirits whenever possible, he takes a part-time job as a private tutor. Unfortunately for him, fate clearly has other plans.

His first student turns out to be Yayoi Hozuki, a brilliant young girl with exceptional intelligence… and an intense fascination with the paranormal. The moment Yayoi notices Keitaro’s spiritual sensitivity, she immediately realizes he is the perfect companion for her terrifying hobby: visiting haunted locations and capturing dangerous ghosts. Unlike Keitaro, Yayoi actively seeks out supernatural phenomena, determined to confront increasingly powerful spirits for reasons tied to her own tragic past.
