Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne, the script for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was published in a special edition of the playtext immediately after the world premiere of the play in London's West End in the summer of 2016. The play received enthusiastic reviews from both audiences and critics, and the playtext became a worldwide sales success.
