Shrikethorn Sofvi Spirits Figure Pacific Rim Uprising

A category IV kaiju has been detected in the direction of MegaTokyo! This is the new figure from Pacific Rim: Uprising offered by Bandai/Tamashii within its Sofvi Spirits line! On this occasion, we find the figure of the monstrous Shrikethorn, one of the three kaijus who attack the city of MegaTokyo in the year 2035 and who have to be stopped by Gipsy Avenger and the other Jaegers robots. This category IV kaiju is over 90 meters tall and weighs around 2590 tons. The end of his head, which looks like a hammerhead shark, shows several blue eyes. Great part of its body is covered by protuberances and bony spines. Shrikethorn has two tails that are finished in bioluminescent spikes that shine with an intense blue color due to the plasma energy inside. This kaiju can use these spikes as a weapon, throwing them towards its enemies as if they were projectiles.

This figure is made of PVC and measures 28 centimeters, approximately. Shrikethorn appears with the same look that we saw in Pacific Rim: Uprising, the second film in the franchise that pays homage to the classic Japanese kaiju genre. The form of this kaiju has been reproduced in detail, including its claws, the triangular shape of its head and its two tails finished in long spikes. Special attention has also been paid to coloring, which has turned to an intense light blue color to show the parts of this creature that overflow with energy. This product is an official license of Pacific Rim and has been manufactured by Bandai/Tamashii within its Sofvi Spirits line.
