Features of the Articulated Figure

If your collection needs adorable chaos, strange shouting and that “nobody knows exactly what they are saying, but we all accept they are right” energy, this Nendoroid 2169 Usagi Chiikawa is ready to add humour, sweetness and plenty of movement to your display. Inspired by Chiikawa, a story about the fun, sad and sometimes rather challenging everyday lives of its characters, this figure represents Usagi, Chiikawa’s friend who often appears with unpredictable expressions and sounds like “ura” or “yaha”, because sometimes a coherent sentence is not necessary when you have enough charisma to communicate through pure energy.

Made by Max Factory, this figure belongs to the Nendoroid line, a collection known for its articulated chibi-style designs, interchangeable expressions and accessories created to recreate scenes full of personality. It is made from PVC, a material commonly used in collectible figures thanks to its resistance, light weight and clean visual finish. It measures approximately 7 cm, making it perfect for small display cabinets, desks, manga shelves or corners dedicated to adorable characters who seem to live somewhere between absolute cuteness and hilarious confusion. The figure also uses magnets in the arm and leg parts, allowing for smooth, natural and easy posing.

The set includes three face plates: a smiling face, a smiling face with a closed mouth and a white-eyed face. This selection of expressions captures Usagi’s unpredictable charm perfectly, from their cheerful side to that look that seems to say “my plan makes no sense, but trust me”. Optional parts include a staff, waving arm parts, a crossed arms part and other accessories for creating different poses. Thanks to these extras, you can display Usagi in cute scenes, moments full of attitude or situations where they look ready to shout something strange and walk away as if everything went exactly according to plan.

This articulated figure is a great option for Usagi fans, Chiikawa followers and collectors looking for a compact, expressive PVC piece that is very easy to display. It will not translate their “ura” and “yaha” for you, make your daily life less chaotic or stop you from wanting to place them alongside Chiikawa and the rest of the characters, but it will add humour, energy and plenty of personality to your collection. In the end, having Nendoroid 2169 Usagi is a perfect way to celebrate a character who proves that weirdness can also be adorable, and that sometimes all it takes is a blank expression, a staff and completely unexplained confidence to become the soul of the display shelf.
