As in every Clank! game, each improvement can bring you closer to victory, but it may also tempt you into taking bigger risks.

The ship is built with modules that change from game to game, creating different routes and forcing players to adapt their strategy. To reach the artefacts, players must hack data ports, use teleporters, move through lifts and carefully manage their timing before Lord Eradikus becomes too enraged. The push your luck system remains central to the experience. Every time you make Clank!, you add cubes of your colour to the boss bag. When an attack is triggered, cubes are drawn at random, and the players who have made the most noise are more likely to take damage. Alarms and bounty hunters add further threats, making movement through the ship exciting and dangerous. Stealing more can win you the game, but escaping in time is just as important.
