Princess Arete movie arrives on DVD! This is the story of Arete, a dreamy princess who struggles to free herself from the role assigned to her and take control of her destiny. Arete remains confined by her father in the tallest tower of the castle, waiting for a man worthy to marry her to arrive sometime. Her only distraction is to observe the lives of ordinary people from her window while dreaming of traveling to the exotic countries she knows from the books she hides under her bed. None of the suitors to whom his father embarks on searches for magical contraptions is up to his intelligence. However, one day the wizard Boax arrives aboard his fantastic flying machine and uses his magic to transform Arete into an obedient and submissive princess thus convincing her father that he is the ideal husband for her.
