The proud Sasuke was Naruto's rival when they both became part of Team 7 led by Kakashi. However, under their apparent enmity a much deeper bond was emerging. After all, Sasuke and Naruto were very similar: both were orphans. With time, both became friends. However, Sasuke's obsession with facing his brother Itachi got in the way between the two friends. Sasuke went into the darkness to get the power to defeat his brother and both friends separated.
